DESCRIPTION:FREE PRESENTATION SPONSORED BY NBHS \nA personal journey through historical\, genealogical\, and DNA research using a live demonstration of online tools\, often used reference books\, and ample time for Q & A. \nDan\, a retired professional actor and Emmy-winning director\, has spent the last 25 years exploring the genealogy and history of his own family\, and that of friends and clients. He is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogy and holds a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University. \nHe is a lifetime member of the New Braintree Historical Society\, the Quaboag Historical Society\, served on the West Brookfield Historical Commission where he produced the Lucy Stone Bicentennial Celebration in 2018\, and most recently\, produced the Brookfield Historical Commission’s event; A Robert Wilder Memorial Presentation: Honoring Brookfield’s First Inhabitants. \nHe is also a member of the Massachusetts Archeological Society\, the Archaeological Society of Virginia\, the Planetary Society and the Mayflower Society. He builds and maintains websites\, creates video documentaries on YouTube\, and occasionally appears as a speaker.
