Valentine’s Day is an international observance on February 14, during which the tradition is to confess feelings to our loved ones.  The holiday has probably originated from the Roman festival called Lupercalia, which used to fall in the middle of February. The festival’s customs were connected to romantic love. Legend explains how Valentine cards became a custom – while in prison, Valentine sent a love letter to Julia,
the daughter of his jailer, which he signed.
