Doug Waugh & Jennifer Pollard will give a historical overview and appreciation of the Waugh family farm, from its purchase in 1927, including the evolution from a dairy farm to the “Kip’s Christmas Tree Farm” business. Town Historian Pollard and Farm owner Waugh will share their knowledge of the early tavern on the property, the various owners over the years, barn fires in 1852 and 1927, as well as historical anecdotes from generations of the Waugh family in New Braintree, as only Doug can tell them. A two-hour program with an intermission; Refreshments will be served.
